Mumbai: It’s official. Cricket star Brett Lee is good at more than just the game.
The song that Lee wrote in November, You're The One For Me, a soft romantic duet, has struck a high note on Indian charts.
The song, which Lee sung with legendary singer Asha Bhosle, reportedly, climbed to the number three position on the Indian charts.
Lee apparently wrote the song in 30 minutes after a cricket practice session with his team during the Champions Trophy tournament in India.
The song has bits of Hindi in it as well, and the video has Lee playing guitar and crooning to an Indian girl.
Lee found it a great experience to work with the Bollywood icon, calling her the Aretha Franklin of India.
"It was amazing to work with her and is just as amazing to hear. I don't quite know what our position on Indian charts means, in terms of how many people have listened to it, but India has 1.2 billion people, so I'm guessing it's quite a few,” Lee was quoted as saying in the Northland Independent Community website.
