London: Britney Spears is said to be bidding millions to buy her own sex tape with ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, before it is put up on websites.

The ‘Toxic’ hit maker is willing to pay ‘whatever it costs’ to keep the compromising video from reaching the ‘grubby money makers’.

The paparazzi photographer, whom Britney dated during her breakdown, has offered it for sale inviting the highest bid and might pocket up to 5 million pounds for it.

But the singer has decided to fight back and is planning to offer a last-minute price at the auction.

“Britney’s lawyers have been working overtime,” a newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the Internet,” the source added.

However, whether Britney has made the bid already is yet to be confirmed, but the singer is determined not to let anything come between her plans for a world tour.
