BSNL re-launches Penta tablet with Android 4.0

New Delhi: Noida based Pantel Technologies, which tied up with BSNL to sell its tablets, has launched an upgraded version of 8-inch 3G tablet, called the Penta T-Pad WS802C. The tablet was earlier available with Android Honeycomb in March this year.

The tablet is sold co-branded with BSNL, which is offering a 3G data plan of 2 GB with 60 days validity, along with the Penta T-Pad.

The new upgraded BSNL Penta T-Pad WS802C runs on Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The tablet features an 8-inch capacitive touch screen and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB DDRII RAM. The tablet supports 1080P HD videos via HDMI.

WS802C Penta T-Pad is priced at Rs 14,699. At this price it is too closely priced to Samsung Galaxy Tab2 which at Rs 19,000 offers much better performance and build quality but has a smaller 7-inch screen.
