New Delhi: WishTel, a manufacturer of Tablet PCs, Netbooks and mobility solutions, in association with BSNL, will be announcing the launch of a new tablet PC, the Ira Icon, on October 1.
The Ira Icon features a 7-inch TFT LCD capacitive multi touchscreen. It has a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The tablet runs Android 4.0, and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. It has 1GB of RAM.
It is powered by built-in 3G SIM. The Ira Icon supports 3G, Wi-Fi and bluetooth connectivity. It comes with built-in stereo speakers and a microphone.
The device comes with a full complement of ports, including USB, SD Card, audio and HD video to simplify the use of industry standard peripheral solutions. It has a 0.3 MP front web camera and 2.0MP rear-facing camera. It has 4GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB.
The tablet comes engineered with a 4000 mAh battery, which can give users browsing time of approximately 4-5 hours. The IRA Icon is said to weigh less than half a kilogram. It will come bundled with BSNL's 3G SIM and and free 3G data of 2GB for two months.
The IRA ICON Triple Play Tablet PC will be available from early next month and is likely to be made available at a price of Rs 10,500.
