New Delhi: In more embarrassment for the Mayawati government, BSP MLA from Bijnor, Shanawaz Rana has been suspended over a molestation case.
Rana Has been suspended for alleged involvement in the abduction and rape attempt on two Delhi-based girls. The MLA's kin was involved in the abduction and rape attempt on the girls.
Mayawati has also banned the entry of Rana in all party functions.
"He has been suspended from the party. Mayawati has decided that he should not attend any party function in the future," said Kunwar Fateh Bahadur Singh, principal secretary (Home), Uttar Pradesh.
