Mumbai: Dressed in their best and wearing their support on their sleeves, Bollywood’s who’s who walked the red carpet in support of BBC World Sevice's Haath Se Haath Mila Campaign.
The campaign culminated in a starry night with the formal launch of the music video, which stars more than 50 Bollywood faces.
So who says celebrities don't do their homework?
"I have just recently come to know that India has the dubious distinction of being the country with highest cases of HIV-positive patients," says lyricist, Javed Akhtar.
Some of those supporting the cause have clearly been at it for long.
"I have been talking about AIDS since I did the Kamasutra advertisement in 1991," says actress-turned-television-anchor Pooja Bedi.
The video has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, lyrics by Javed Akhtar and is sung by Sonu Nigam.
Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Zayed khan, Dino Morea, Neha Dhupia, Tabu and Naseerudin Shah are some of the faces you'll see in the video.
