Cabinet Chaos: Who gets what

New Delhi: The swearing-in may have been postponed for Thursday and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi may be meeting at 7 Race Course Road on Wednesday morning, but the fight for portfolios is far from over.

While wrangling over the HRD and Women and Child Welfare ministries continues, CNN IBN has learnt that Congress leader Ambika Soni is all set to become the country's next health minister.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry is likely to go to Anand Sharma.

From the DMK contingent, Azhagiri could get Chemicals and Fertilisers, while Dayanidhi Maran is likely to settle for Textiles.

DMK's Dalit face A Raja, will in all likelihood bag the IT ministry while Congressman Vayalar Ravi could be heading the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Meanwhile Meira Kumar, Bihar's lone face in the Cabinet, is a potential contender for the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
