Mumbai: A Mumbai woman has now come forward to say that she was also gangraped at Shakti Mills compound in Lower Parel by the same men who sexually assaulted the 23-year-old photojournalist last month.

The survivor is a call center employee and just over 18 years was allegedly gang-raped on the July 31. Prima facie, the modus operandi is similar to the one adopted to target the 23-year-old photojournalist in August.

The call center employee was also accompanied by a male friend, who was beaten and tied up by the five accused. Three of those five accused are already behind bars.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Dr Satyapal Singh said two fresh names have come up and the matter is being investigated.

Sources indicated that there could be many more such miscreants who had made the defunct mill compound their den of nefarious activities. The question is since how long was this happening and why did the local police fail to avert this.
