New Delhi: Bryan Adams has officially kicked off the tour for his new album 11. Also, Avril Lavigne gave a stellar performance at Juno — the Canadian music awards ceremony.
Bryan Adams concert in Peru:
Canadian singer Bryan Adams kick-started the Latin American promotional tour of his new album 11 with a concert in the historic city of Lima in Peru on Monday.
Over 20,000 fans rocked to his tunes as the singer-songwriter crooned some of his evergreen classics like Summer of 69, 18 Till I Die, Heaven among others.
He also performed songs from his comeback album 11 including the latest chart topper I Thought I'd Seen Everything.
Juno Awards:
Juno Canada's music awards were recently presented to singers and musicians native to the country.
While singer Feist won five Junos for the breezy track 1 2 3 4 the modern day Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble won a Juno for the Fan Choice Award.
Setting the tempo for the evening was the pint sized punk-rocker Avril Lavigne who performed her hit number Girlfriend to scores of screaming fans. Pop singer Rihanna won the International Album of the Year for her super hit record Good Girl Gone Bad.
