Sydney: In a bizarre accident in Sydney, a car ended up wedged in a roof of a house.
Police believe the vehicle hit a lamp post and collided with a mound of dirt which propelled it 15 metres into the air. It finally crashlanded onto the roof of a house.
One of the passengers managed to free himself from the wreckage, but remained trapped in the roof. The other man was unable to get out.
The occupants of the house, including a three-month-old baby also had a miraculous escape.
Those in the car were rescued by emergency services. They were taken to hospital and their condition is now stable.
Debris and car parts were found scattered along the street where the mishap took place.
Police say speed and alcohol could have been factors in the incident.
