St.George's, Grenada: Left-hander Jonathan Carter will remain with the West Indies as cover for opener Johnson Charles for Sunday's second One-Day International against Zimbabwe. Carter was originally called up as cover for Kieron Pollard, who was experiencing travel difficulties in reaching Grenada ahead of the start of the three-match One-Day Series.
However a WICB release late Saturday says Pollard has since arrived and will be available for the second One-Dayer at the Grenada National Stadium. Charles made 130 to win the Man-of-the-Match award in the West Indies' huge victory by 156 runs in the opening match Friday.
During the innings he was struck on his left foot and is receiving treatment for the injury. A decision on his participation in the second match will be made before the toss.
