New Delhi: Former Cuban President Fidel Castro has urged Colombia's FARC rebel group to release all it's hostages.
Castro's comment follows the rescue of over a dozen hostages, including former Columbian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, last week.
Castro wants the Marxist-Leninist guerrillas to unconditionally free all hostages and prisoners under their control.
The rebel group is responsible for several ransom kidnappings in Colombia. The group's kidnapping targets are usually wealthy landowners, businessmen, and security personnel.
