Mumbai: They are one of the most photographed couples in high society circles. And they are both public figures and known for their style and spirituality.

Yash and Avanti Birla have been known for various reasons. They have seen in the papers and dodging the paparazzi. They have been noticed for their flambouyance and intimate style.

But it's time now to see them go from being a power couple to being on the cover India's leading fashion magazine, L’Officiel, as the most fashionable people around.

And if you wonder why editor and publisher of L’Officiel, Superna Motwane explains, ““They were born on so many levels and yet they are such individual people. The combination of these elements makes them very L’Officiel people.”

And it was not surprising that Yash and Avanti Birla spent a lavish weekend in Paris, dressing up in Dior's Spring/Summer 2007 Collection and getting photographed like they have never been seen before.

“If you look at it, it was an experience that we had never done before. Dior, Paris and L’Officiel everything together, it was great fun,” says Avanti who is managing director of Birla Lifestyle.

“It was more aesthetic. It was more photographic. They are many more pictures here and there are many more changes. I don’t think I have changed as many times for any shoot as I did for this particular shoot,” says Yash Birla who is Chairman of Yash Birla Group.

And when a cover story like this comes with an interview that lets you into their lives, it makes for an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

So go ahead, grab a copy of the magazine, find out what it takes to be L'Officiel people and learn a lesson or two on how to live the good life.
