New Delhi: It's that time of the day when reason deserts you and you spend all your waking time watching cricket. Well if you have cricket fever, then here is the perfect way to catch the match on your mobile.

If you are crazy about cricket and can't stand to miss a single ball, then cricinfo.com genie is just the fix you need.

It's an application that allows you to catch live cricket on your cell phone no matter where you are. It simulates all the action on the field in an animated format.

Rajesh Rao, CEO, Dhruva Interactive says, “For every ball that has to be shown, the Genie is actually talking to the genie data server fetching the information, to be able to simulate that particular ball fully.

To activate the Genie, download it from your service provider, select the Genie icon on your phone and authorize it to send and receive data. Once it's launched you can see a list of live matches being played across the world. Pick the one you want to watch and just sit back and enjoy the match. Genie also allows you to see highlights and scorecards and the service comes at a price.

“In some networks we have got for example per day pricing policy so you could have Rs 10 or Rs 15 per day. Or if it's a five-day Test match you could have Rs 25 pricing for a 5 day Test,” says Rao.

Now this is a lot of fun, but there is one thing you have to find, a nice, quiet hiding place at work so you can watch the match in peace.
