New Delhi: Aussie spin wizard Shane Warne is no stranger off-field shenanigans.
His famous run-ins with sex controversies have been much publicised and the cricket legend has managed to embroil himself in yet another scandal.
Warne was caught out again on Sunday when he was pictured in a British newspaper allegedly romping with two models.
Tabloid News of the World published pictures of Warne standing in his underpants while two topless models – a blonde and a brunette - fooled around with a sex toy.
The paper published grainy black and white images showing the leg-spinner in a variety of poses with the models.
The weekly tabloid also ran explicit text messages allegedly from the spin bowling ace, who’s facing an expensive divorce battle with his wife Simone.
The threesome allegedly happened on Thursday night in a plush London flat - before the 36-year-old racked up some more impressive figures the following morning - taking seven for 99 against Middlesex, his best performance yet for Hampshire.
One of the two models featured in the tabloid, Coralie Eichholz, 25, hailed Warne's innings. "Shane blew our minds. He was so fit. I'd give him top marks for more than satisfying us," she said, adding, "He was talking dirty all the time. It was full-on, hardcore and we had a great time. In the trouser department, he was above average."
Warne has a history littered with sexual and mobile phone indiscretions, most of them occurring either on tour or in the UK during a county cricket stint.
A series of tales were published in various tabloids prior to and during the Ashes series last year, leading to the end of his marriage to Simone.
The champion legspinner was dumped by sponsor the Nine Network during the Ashes for his off-field behaviour.
There is speculation the Nine Network are in negotiation to re-sign the
Victorian, but that was before his latest scandal made headlines.
One of his current sponsors, Messages On Hold, reaffirmed their commitment to Warne.
"Obviously what Shane does in his private life as a single man is up to him. Certainly his conduct at staff and client functions has been nothing short of exemplary," said managing director Kym Illman.
