Noida: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is taking Dr Rajesh Talwar's compounder, Krishna, to Bangalore for a Narco Analysis Test in connection with the murder case of Arushi Talwar and Hemraj.
Krishna has already undergone three lie detector tests on three consecutive days and has been formally detained by the CBI. According to the CBI he is turning out to be a very important link in the double murder mystery.
On Wednesday afternoon, CBI Joint Director Arun Kumar briefed the media on the case.
"Krishna has been interrogated to verify many contradictions and has been subjected to Polygraph Test on June 9 and June 10 at CFSL (Central Forensic Science Laboratory), New Delhi," Kumar said.
He also added: "Krishna had been sent to Bangalore for further scientific test. It is being conducted as per the consent given by him."
The investigating agency has shown Krishna as a witness and got the permission for the Narco Analysis Test.
But the Narco Analysis Test on Krishna raises more questions that it answers.
- Is Krishna a suspect or is he witness?
- If he is indeed a witness who did he see committing the crime?
- There were three glasses of alcohol found in Hemraj's room on the night the murders took place . Was Krishna one of his drinking partners?
- Or is the compounder being victimised?
The CBI also picked up Raju, a former servant at the Talwar's residence, for questioning from Mansarovar Park, Sahadara in East Delhi on Wednesday.
Raju was believed to have died in an accident at Patparganj area of East Delhi a couple of months back.
Raju's brother Dileep, who works in Bangalore, said his brother died in an accident and the report is registered at Pandav Nagar Police Station in Delhi but it is now believed that it was a case of mistaken identity.
He worked for the Talwars' for a month earlier this year when Hemraj went home on vacation.
The CBI also claims that the murders of Noida girl Arushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj were premeditated and not committed in the spur of the moment as claimed by the UP Police.
On Monday night Kumar led a team of officials and raided the Talwar residence to recreate the scene of May 15 night when Arushi was killed.
New fingerprints have been found on the air conditioner in Arushi's room and the CBI has also taken fresh fingerprints of Arushi's mother Dr Nupur Talwar and Rajesh Talwar's brother, Dinesh Talwar.
As Arushi's parents have been saying that they did not hear any noise on the night when their daughter was murdered, CBI even opened the cover of the air-conditioner of Arushi's room and switched it on to figure out how much noise it makes.
