Jaipur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday claimed to have finally found a trail of evidence, in the Bhanwari Devi case. A watch, a mobile phone, pieces of jewellery and charred bones found in a canal near Jodhpur have been sent for forensic examination.

In a massive combing operation some fifty divers fished out mounting body of evidence from the canal in Jaloda the spot where Bhanwari Devi's body was allegedly burnt and disposed off.

Each of the evidence is just what the CBI was on the lookout for.

This adds up to what could be Bhanwari's charred remains in a gunny bag found on Friday along with a baseball bat like stick used to batter her remains before the members of the Bishnaram Bsihnoi gang flung the remains into this canal.

With major breakthroughs one after the other in the Bhanwari case the agency is now very close to cracking the case.
