CCTV footage of Glasgow attack released

New Delhi: CCTV footage recorded during a car bomb attack on Glasgow Airport last year was released for the first time on Monday.

The footage shows flames spreading from the fuel-laden car which rammed into the airport terminal.

People can be seen running in fear as the jeep crashed into a door of the main terminal. Many passengers abandoned their luggage, but others with trolleys blocked exits in the mayhem.

Police released the video on the day two men accused of orchestrating terror attacks in Glasgow and London went on trial at Woolwich Crown Court.

Twenty-nine-year-old Bilal Abdulla and 28-year-old Mohammed Asha are accused of conspiracy to murder. Both have however denied the charges.
