The CD was recovered by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The incident which took place last year was recorded by the militants who belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba.
The militants say that they wanted the villagers to admit to their 'guilt'.
The CD shows villagers Bashir, Manzoor and Saifudin being tortured. The militants wanted the three to admit to their sins - namely that they were alcoholics and drug addicts.
The video CD was made as the militants wanted the world to know how they were 'purging the society of evil and evil-doers'.
Police have said that three of the terrorists involved in this heinous act were killed by them in an encounter whereas three others have been arrested, including a local videographer.
