Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan along with brothers Sohail and Arbaaz Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi earlier on Wednesday at his bandra residence in Mumbai.
Every year, Salman's younger sister Arpita is known for organising the Ganpati celebrations in the Khan house. And this year the Khans have got an eco-friendly Ganesh idol to mark the day.
Actors Arbaaz and Sohail describe the event and their experience.
"The entire puja is coordinated and organised by my kid sister, Arpita. We really enjoy the festivities, as we have family that comes over. We do the rituals, dance and celebrate the festival like any other family," says Sohail.
Meanwhile, Arbaaz describes the Khan familay as a secular and cosmopolitan family.
"We are a very cosmopolitan and secular family. We have people from all faiths in our family and we respect all faiths and religions. Ganesh Chaturthi is an onther oppurtunity to show that peole are welcome in our home. They come, pay their visits and we get to meet them," says Arbaaz.
