It's been a traumatic week for the city of Mumbai, with the terror attacks pretty much taking over the lives of the people. Now that the ordeal is over, we shouldn't let the horrible events bring our city to a standstill. So, we take this opportunity to celebrate not just the brave commandos, police and other heroes, but also to salute the spirit of Mumbai.
Ironically enough, the night of the attacks was a memorable night for another reason too. The Bombay Store presented a collection called Bombay Masti designed by Krsna Mehta.
Here's bringing you glimpses of the collection (they make great mementos!)
The collection: Bombay Masti offers a range of kitsch merchandise that highlights the essence of Bombay. From the auto rickshaws and dabbawallas to the glamour of Bollywood, the collection juxtaposes the everyday life in the city with vibrant colour and dramatic graphic elements.
The goodies: Candles, coasters, trays, mugs, cushions, calendars, framed posters, boxes of incense sticks, telephone diaries, gift bags, matchboxes, note pads, scarves, T-shirts, bags and ties
The damages: Rs 50 to Rs 2,500
Where to shop: The collection is available at The Bombay Store, Fort, Mumbai.
