'Chakravyuh' Tweet Review: First day, first show

New Delhi: The promos of ‘Chakravyuh’ suggest that the director Prakash Jha is going to tackle a serious issue in the film. On an outset, the film looks like the story of two friends who turn against each other due to their ideological differences.

The film stars Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Manoj Bajpayee, Esha Gupta and Om Puri in prominent roles. Anjali Patil, who had given a brilliant performance in ‘Delhi In A Day,’ will also be seen as one of the leading characters. The basic premise of the film seems to be set in the backdrop of Naxalism, one of the most dreaded problems in front of the Indian state.

Prakash Jha has touched upon socially relevant issues in the past but his films still followed the trends of Bollywood. This time again the audience will be witnessing an item song by Sameera Reddy.
