New Delhi: The Silver Jubilee Chameli Devi Jain Award for Outstanding Woman Mediaperson will be jointly given to correspondent of CNN-IBN, Nilanjana Bose and Sreelekha of Vanitha of the Malayalam Manorama Group.
The winners of the award for 2006 were selected from among 17 nominees from six states and working in five languages.
They were chosen by a jury comprising contributing editor to Indian Express, Coomi Kapoor, editor of Saptahik Outlook, Alok Mehta and editor of The Week, Sachidananda Murthy.
The award will be presented by Neerja Chowdhury, the first woman mediaperson who had won the Chameli Devi Jain Award, on March 29.
