Champions League: Manchester United drawn with Real Madrid in last 16

English Premier League's Manchester United were drawn with Spainish champions Real Madrid in the Group of 16 of the 2012 Champions League tournament.

The draw means that Cristiano Ronaldo will face his former club with Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson set to lock horns once again.

Other English side Arsenal, meanwhile, face last season's beaten finalists Bayern Munich who are currently nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.

Among the other round of 16 matches, Barcelona will take on AC Milan and Arsenal face Bayern Munich.

Champions League favorite Barcelona has been drawn to play AC Milan. Italian champion Juventus will play Celtic, and debutant Malaga tackles FC Porto. Also, it was: Shakhtar Donetsk against Borussia Dortmund, and Galatasaray against Schalke.

The draw took pace at the UEFA headquarters at Nyon, Switzerland . General Secretary Gianni Infantino and director of competitions Giorgio Marchetti put together the runners-up and the winners from the group stages for the round of 16.

First-leg matches are played from Feb. 12-20. Return matches are from March 5-13. The final will take place at Wembley on 25th May.
