Chandigarh: girl injured in acid attack

Chandigarh: A girl was seriously injured when two unidentified youth riding a motorcycle allegedly threw acid on her at a petrol pump in Dhaun village in Punjab's Mohali district on Thursday.

Police officials said the men drove up to the petrol pump and threw acid at the girl when she was refueling her car.

The girl is reported to have been seriously injured. Her friends have suffered minor injuries as well. Police are looking at the CCTV footage to gather leads on the attackers.
