Vivek and Shriya Saran were in the United States recently, shooting some important scenes for their upcoming film 'Chandra', directed by Rupa Iyer.
"It was a nice experience to shoot on the streets of New York. Tourists are highly respected there and people are highly disciplined and polite," says Chinna Kalaivanar.
He adds: "During break hour, I went to shopping with Shriya. She is a good friend of mine and I knew her right from her maiden Tamil flick, 'Enakku 20 Unakku 18'."

directed by Rupa Iyer, \'Chandra\' is about a royal family. Shriya plays princess and Vivek plays her brother.
Giving details about the film, he says, "Chandra is about a royal family and Shriya plays a princess and I play her brother, I mean a prince. It is an interesting story."
