Click to play videoNew Delhi: There was total chaos in Chennai Central Railway Station on Thursday night after delay in local train schedules angered passengers who were left stranded at the station.
Angry passengers threw stones at a train, and sat on the tracks, refusing to let any trains move.
In the process, most of the passengers were stuck in the railway station and trains got delayed by more than two hours. Most passengers were up all night waiting for trains.
Passengers blame railway authorities for not taking stock of the situation. Railways officials took four hours to bring the situation under control.
Though the railway authorities offered full refund to passengers who wanted to leave, most of the passengers were unaware of it.
