The teenager surprised many at the event with her slim new look and straight hair. So what's behind the new look, adult Jiah?
"I had loads of baby fat yes, in Nishabd but I lost weight because of fasting for Ramzan. I wanted to look more grown up,” Jiah says.
As to why she's been away from the scene for so long, she says it's all because of her sole forthcoming flick Ghajini with Aamir Khan.
From the Big B to Aamir, when it comes to co-stars, she sure is luckier than a lot of grown ups.
“I am so lucky to work with Aamir so early, although I haven't started shooting yet he has made me work on my role,” Jiah says.
With shooting plans still far away, for now, Jiah wants to just party this forthcoming Diwali. We'll just say, play safe!
