Bosingwa, a versatile operator in defense and midfield, won the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and with Chelsea last season. He also won a Premier League title and three FA Cups with Chelsea.
He joins QPR on a free transfer after being released by Chelsea.
QPR start their league season at home against Swansea on Saturday but Bosingwa signed too late to play.
