New Delhi: Seeking to rubbish the Time Magazine report on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the UPA government, Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday said that it was "just a magazine".
"It is just a magazine... The BJP's comments (on the PM and the government) are distasteful," he said.
Time Magazine, in its latest issue, had dubbed the Indian PM 'The Underachiever', criticising him for lacking the spine to push ahead with reforms.
The BJP on Monday took the battle further claiming that the Manmohan Singh government was the most corrupt government.
BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said that India was suffering due to Congress President Sonia Gandhi's "misrule".
