New Delhi/ Noida: The two men accused of raping and killing children in Noida have turned against each other during interrogation, claim police.

Businessman Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Satish are under arrest for the murders of at least 15 children. The children’s bodies were found near Pander’s D-5 bungalow in Noida, Sector 31.

The Uttar Pradesh Police claim Satish confessed to the rape and murder of children and Pandher was an equal partner in the gruesome crimes. But now the two accused have allegedly changed their stories.

Pandher, an alumnus of Shimla’s Bishop Cotton School, has reportedly told police that Satish raped and killed the children and he was not aware of these crimes.

Pander has allegedly confessed to killing 20-year-old Payal, who police claim was a call girl, because she was blackmailing him. Police stumbled upon the children’s bodies when while searching for Payal they found Satish using her cell phone.

Payal’s body was found near the bungalow and police suspect that the two accused may have killed women too. Pandher has confessed get call girls to his house.

Satish’s alleged confession is in complete contrast to Pandher’s statement. Satish, who himself is the father of a young girl, claims Pander killed all the children and claims the murders began some 20 months back.

Just confessions

Apart from the alleged confessions, the UP Police has little to establish that the two accused raped and murdered children.

Police officials are unable to answer why the bungalow was not sealed immediately after the bodies were discovered and why did they allow the media and relatives of children inside.

The UP Police, which has been investigating the case for five days, is already facing severe criticism for ignoring complaints that at least 38 children from Nithari village near the bungalow had disappeared in two years.

Pander and Satish will undergo a narco-analysis test but that can only be used as corroborative evidence. Opposition parties in the state want the Central Bureau of Investigation to take over the case and if UP Police fail to impress.
