New Delhi: The chill continues in Delhi as heavy rains hit parts of the capital. The Met department recorded 1.6 mm of rainfall on Monday with rain and thunderstroms continuing overnight. Parts of Faridabad saw hail as well. Cloudy weather conditions are likely to continue on Tuesday as the Meteorological Department has predicted more rain, thunderstorms and hail.
The maximum temperature on Monday was 19.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 11.7 degrees, which was three notches above normal.
Cloudy weather conditions are likely to continue on Tuesday as well. Isolated rain and thunderstorms have also been predicted besides the possibility of hail occurring in one or two places, the Met office said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures for Tuesday are expected to be 19 and 11 degrees respectively.
