Click to play videoNew Delhi: The people of Arunachal Pradesh voted overwhelmingly in the Assembly polls. Over 70 per cent voters cast their votes in the easternmost state of India, bordering China.
China however was at it again, recording a protest over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to the state, terming it as "triggering disturbance".
India responded by reiterating that Arunachal Pradesh is not an alienable territory of India.
India fumed at first but played it down later.
This is the latest disturbance from the Dragon. Earlier it had ruffled New Delhi's feathers by insisting on separate visas for Kashmiris travelling to China. Before that, it was a string of Chinese incursions all along the McMohan line that had worried New Delhi.
Experts say China has been persistent in labeling Arunachal as a disputed territory and will continue to reject it to be a part of the India.
