Beijing: Authorities in China's Henan province are investigating a retired government official after he was accused by a woman of rape and of forcing her to perform in a sex video, officials said.
Zhang Minqiang, former head of the complaints department in Shangqiu city, was accused of sexual harassment by a female employee of the local transportation bureau, the Shanghai Daily reported.
The woman wrote online that Zhang asked her for 100,000 yuan ($16,000) in exchange for helping her find a job.

The woman wrote online that the official asked her for 100,000 yuan ($16,000) in exchange for helping her find a job.
She later said that Zhang instead sexually assaulted her multiple times since July 2009.
A video clip and several photos of the woman and Zhang have gone viral.
"He asked me to pose like an actress in a pornographic movie every time he sexually assaulted me, and documented the whole process, and later played it on his computer," the woman told journalism website jzdcw.hk.
She also claimed that Zhang asked his son to kill her and her son, after she demanded that Zhang return her money in July 2012.
The woman alleged that Zhang had many mistresses and multiple homes, land and millions of yuan in stock.
She said she had videotapes, phone messages and other evidence to back up her claims.
