Chiranjeevi's rising son grabs limelight with Chiruta

Shwetal Kamalapurkar, CNN-IBN

Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja is all set to make his acting debut in a Telugu film called Chiruta. CNN-IBN caught up with the star kid at the premiere.

Shwetal Kamplapurkar: What’s the movie all about?

Ram Charan Teja: I’m seeing it for the first time. It’s a love story, that’s all I can say.

Shwetal Kamplapurkar: You’re playing the role of a tourist guide, something your father has also played before. How difficult was it. Did you try to match up to him?

Ram Charan Teja:It’s an amazing job being a tourist guide. You get to see new places everyday. I did enjoy it.

Shwetal Kamplapurkar: It’s quite the trend today that young artistes start of with vernacular media and then move on to Bollywood. Is that something we can expect from you?

Ram Charan Teja: No, I am very well based here. This is my first priority. Yes, if I get a good script I would definitely take out time for any other industry.

Shwetal Kamplapurkar: So what’s on the cards next?

Ram Charan Teja: I am working on a project with director Raj for which my uncle is the producer and it will start rolling from December.
