New Delhi: It's World Chocolate Day on Friday and its time ditch those coffee shops and chai bars for a much sweeter high.
Chocoholics can rejoice because the perfect place for one to indulge has been found.
It’s a chocolate cafe in the capital, called Chokola , which means ‘to drink chocolate together’ in Mayan. Not to worry, there's plenty of chocolate around—from chocolate pralines, strawberries dipped in chocolate to the wide range of deserts and cakes.
So what is it about chocolate that drives us nuts?
”When you eat chocolate, the hormone which is secreted is the same as being in love. It has the same effect, so I think that's why people just love chocolate,” says the owner of Chokola, Vasuda Mittal.
Believe it or not, this restaurant offers a four-course chocolate based lunch! First in the line is chocolate soup with cashewnuts and sponge fingers.
The next course includes club sandwiches with chocolate, followed by the best part of it all—desert, one that’s all gooey and pure sin.
Last but not the least on the list is hot chocolate—steaming hot, creamy and incredibly smooth, positively the best non-alcoholic drink in town!
