CNN-IBN: You have Teen Patti, Three Idiots, Sikandar and many others lined up. All are very different from each other. Which is your most anticipated film and why?
Madhavan: That’s a tough one. If I have to be really honest, then Three Idiots would be a film I am looking forward to.
CNN-IBN: Why did you say yes to Sikandar. Was it the role?
Madhavan: Frankly, it was the story. In my case, I heard the story, and I related it to how children in Kashmir may react to terrorism there.
CNN-IBN: Teen Patti has two stalwarts - Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. Do you share a screen space with them? Anything you've learnt from them?
Madhavan: Yes, After being in the industry for so long, both of them have this child-like earnestness when they come to sets. Over a period, I've realised Mr Kingsley or Mr Bachchan have lost that quality.
CNN-IBN: Is there any particular actress in Bolywood you wish you could romance with?
Madhavan: I wish I had romanced someone like Nargis or Madhuri Dixit. There are lots of actresses who are women of substance but I have this attraction for Madhubala. I think they have the ability to make common man want to protect them.
