New Delhi: Chrysler has accused Mahindra and Mahindra of copying its Jeep Front grill Design and Shape for the Scorpio.
Sources say M&M and Chrysler have been in talks on the issue for more than a month.
The spat between the companies could impact Scorpio's US launch and the domestic plans. Although Chrysler has not sent a legal notice yet, M&M is confident of defending the design.
When M&M was contacted they clarified that they are in talks with Chrysler over the latter’s concern regarding the similarity of the design. However, Chrysler refused to comment on the matter when contacted.
