Three films release on Pongal

Chennai: Festivities are on in full fervour at Chennai and to top it all are the three Pongal releases. And fans have already booked their tickets to watch their favourite actors in action.

Pongal in Tamil Nadu is just not complete without sugarcane, Sakkarapongal, Kolams and of course the Pongal releases.

"Generally, Pongal is very lucky for me Tirupachi, Pokkiri and now Villu," said actor Vijay.

So the Vijay-Prabhu Deva pair is back again to make the most of this festive season in his new project Villu. Vijay pairs with Nayanthara for the first time in the film.

"This film's like an exhibition, it's lots of fun. You can just go and enjoy it completely. That's my guarantee," said Vijay.

"It's very stylish, we've tried to make it like a bond movie. We've got fights on land, air, water everything. We've made Vijay look very stylish," said director Prabhu Deva.

Actor Dhanush on the other hand is hoping to repeat his father-in-law's magic with his film Padikkathavan titled so after a Rajinikanth movie of the same name. For those who're looking for some romance with a dose of action, this is just the film to watch.

Raj Tv's debut production Kaadhal Na Summa Illa starring Ravi Krishna and Kamalini Mukherjee also hits the theatre for Pongal.

"It's not only a good film for lovers, it's a film that everybody will enjoy. If you go as a couple, or a gang of boys or girls, everybody is going to enjoy it," said actor Ravi Krishna.
