New Delhi: While the Oscar winning short documentary feature Smile Pinki may have won little six-year-old Pinki Sonkar the world’s attention, there are thousands of other children across the country who have not been so lucky.
Pinki’s cleft palate and cut lip may have been surgically repaired by doctors after some good Samaritan social workers enabled the act. CNN-IBN takes a look at others who cannot eat, breathe, speak or even smile easily due to a cleft palate.
