Los Angeles: It's not everyday that we get to see three of Hollywood's most wanted actors together--- we're talking about Oscar winners, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon who came together for the premiere of , Invictus in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Invictus tells the story of former South African President Nelson Mandela who initiates a rugby championship to unite the aparthied torn land. Eastwood, who's directed the film explains why Freeman was the perfect choice for Mandela's role
Director Clint Eastwood says, Well, he's the same height. The same stature. He's got the same kind of presence as an actor as Mandela has as a politician."
"I called Clint and told him 'Hey I got a good script for you,' and he read it and said 'I like it let's go, '" said Morgan Freeman
As for Damon who was accompanied by his wife, he couldn't stop raving about his co-stars.
Damon said, “Well, I mean, yeah. It was everything I expected. And I expected a lot. And it was everything and more working with those guys. You know, they are just two of the people who I most admire in the business, and who have careers that I most admire in the business. And they're like an object lesson-- something that I look towards and hope for in my own life down the road.
Shot entirely in South Africa, Invictus will release across the US on December 11.
