Kozhikode: A three-member medical team from Christian Medical College hospital, Vellore, today examined veteran Malayalm film actor Jagathy Sreekumar, being treated at a private hospital here after his March 10 accident.
The team expressed satisfaction over the recovery the actor has made, sources at Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences said.
Kerala Assembly Speaker G Karthikeyan, who had also visited the hospital recently, said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had intervened to ensure a medical team from CMC would examine the actor at MIMS.

Sreekumar was seriously injured when the car in which he was travelling to Kodagu in Karnataka for shooting a Malayalam film 'Idavapathy' slammed into a road divider at nearby Tenhippalam in Malappuram district on March 10.
He was operated upon for injuries on his abdomen and had three surgeries done on his right hand forearm, right thigh and hip.
