CNN-IBN CJ makes it to record book

New Delhi: CNN-IBN has made it to the Limca Book of Records 2007 because of the Citizen Journalist concept started almost a year ago.

The concept - which was started by the channel in collaboration with Idea Cellular - has been recognised as a path breaking journalistic initiative.

The Limca Book of Records has honoured CNN-IBN for making it possible for the citizen to participate in the news gathering process.

The initiative allows viewers to raise social concerns at various levels.

Incidentally, CNN-IBN is the youngest news channel to be included in the record books.
