The Gujarat government will give compensation to the families of four fishermen killed by the 26/11 terrorists.
The 26/11 terrorists, including Ajmal Kasab, had hijacked MV Kuber – killing the 4 fishermen on board and throwing them in the sea. But the law states that no one is declared dead until the body is recovered. And so the families were denied help.
After CNN-IBN reported their plight, the state government has said it will provide Rs 50,000 each to the families from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
