Aligarh: After the horrific stories of students being raped by their own teachers, here is a story of a student at the Aligarh Muslim University who was also the victim of harassment but for a different reason.
Farah Khanum was threatened against wearing Western clothes - jeans and T-shirt - inside the campus.
At a press conference held at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University, Farah described the way CNN-IBN Correspondent Prarthna Gahilote and her cameraman were hounded when they went to cover the incident in Aligarh on Tuesday.
The tapes were snatched from our correspondent to make sure the footage was not aired but Farah decided to come to Delhi and share her bitter experience with the press.
Farah alo spoke out against the accused - Nafis Ahmed - at the press conference in where JNU students Union came out in full support.
