Mumbai: CNN-IBN's Rohit Khilnani caught up with Shah Rukh Khan on his birthday to quiz him on how it feels to be 43 and his new movie.
Rohit Khilnani: For all the viewers of CNN-IBN. Shah Rukh Khan will cut a cake. The cake is from all the viewers and all your fans who are watching CNN-IBN.
Shah Rukh Khan: Thank you CNN-IBN for wishing me Happy Birthday. God bless you. Hope you make some good and sensible news and make our world a better place to live.
Rohit Khilnani: People say that Shah Rukh Khan has everything. Now that you are 43, do you think that you have everything?
Shah Rukh Khan:Everyone has everything if they want to believe. I started believing that I had everything when I was 9 years old. Materially, there will be always a room for an aeroplane.
Rohit Khilnani: Tell us something about your new movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Shah Rukh Khan: Yasrajji and Adi (Aditya) called me and they said that they were postponing the release of the first look of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi all over the county and wanted it to do it on my birthday. Well, I always try to make a good films. I try to make a good sense of entertainment for the audience. This movie is special because Aditya is making it after a long time. It is also special because the film is an antithesis of the egos that I am playing. It is not someone that you want to be. A character in a film is someone that you are.
