New Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader Mohan Singh on Tuesday made the controversial remark that the Congress could well be indulging in politics over coal blocks allocations to have Prime Minister Manmohan Singh replaced by Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi.
Speaking to mediapersons, Singh said, "BJP wants to create a vaccum at the helm of the country... Who will be the Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) if he resigns? Will Jaitely be the PM?"
In the same vein, he added, "It could also be internal politics of the Congress as well where some Congressmen want to replace Manmohan Singh with Rahul Gandhi."
