Coimbatore: A 37-year-old labourer was arrested on Sunday on charges of killing his wife with a grinding stone at Anuppalpalayam in nearby Tirupur District, police said.
The couple used to quarrel frequently as the husband suspected the wife's fidelity. The man hit his wife with the grinding stone following a quarrel in the wee hours of Sunday, police said.
Complaints from neighbours led to his arrest, police said, adding, he has been remanded to custody.
