No total deregulation of fuel prices: Sources

CNN-IBN

New Delhi: Network 18 has learnt that there may not be complete deregulation of retail auto fuel prices.

Crude price slabs will benchmark retail prices and under-recoveries.

Meanwhile, the Oil Ministry is trying to work on a mechanism linking the Indian crude basket with the retail price of auto fuels.

The slabs of crude prices could be in the range of $40-$50, $50-$60 or $60-$70.
