The Congress and the Left may have split over the nuclear deal and may seem to be bitter rivals at the polls. But the doors are still open for them coming together.
In an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN senior Congress leader External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said his party is open to a post-poll tie up with the Left.

I don't think he meant anything evil, he has stated that his views have been distorted. As far as Congress is concerned, it is always dependent on its progressive program.

Congress always promotes younger leadership, and in my one of the speech I have mentioned that a day will come when he will be the PM. It will come.
